cassese underpinner foot pedal

Could anyone tell me how to fix the foot pedal of the Cassese 88 underpinner? The pedal came off while I was using it!! thanks

Well thanks Merlin but I think I'd need to be a bit of a technical wizard to work it out from that drawing. Was looking for something a bit simpler. Thks anyway. Happy New Year when it comes to you 8)
