Husband designed it; wife stitched it, we framed it!

laced and padded, double mount in alphamat artcare 'Arabian White' with a Larson Juhl 'Mantilla' slip between.

Gilded frame from Simons, (same moulding available from Nielsen) Nielsen Clearcoolour plus UV glass.

Sorry - didn't note it down - I'll let you know tomorrow, along with the Nielsen one. I do know the Simons list price is about £2.80 per foot - Nielsen is much dearer and their chop price is about £6.80 per ft

Customer brought it in still stitched to its frame. Could we remove it - plus the tacking stitches that you can see some of in the close-ups (it's worked on two pieces of fabric, one underneath, which were loosely tacked together before she started) or should she take it away, do that and then bring it back?

Nah - we'd do that, no worries ....... NIGHTMARE....... some of the tacking stitches had been worked over - I spent ages with a pair of tweezers and a magnifying glass (built in - wonderful tool - we sell 'em - want one?) some remain as I was too scared to pull them through, don't doubt the customer would have been too -but they only remain on the back.
Happy and sad masks and (I think) a map of Cyprus - have been instructed by wife to get more info when it's collected - I know they gave me the story but I was on auto-pilot as usual!
It's for a wedding anniversary - reckon it's a few years overdue - it did take years to complete.

It was collected today - wasn't an anniversary present at all; was supposed to be a wedding present!

It was started well before the wedding but it took 7 years to do - thanks to bouts of illness.

That shape is Cyprus, that's where the 'J's were married, both in to dramatics, hence the masks - husband plays the organ - the shapes each side of each 'J' are organ pipes.
