Hi and thanks for posting those pics - they look great.

Probably didn't make myself clear enough in my earlier post, each set of medals were in their own frame with colour suited mountboard backing and with each of the frames on the wall to the same outer size so they could be hung in nice straight lines. We did look at the route of putting them all in one big frame, but they are working on the idea that there will be more to do in the future and so just adding more frames as per previous ones was the easiest way of updating their wall.

Next time we are in the BL I will try to remember to take my camera so that I can post the results.

hi triger - ok any pics would be good - we have crimson midniht blue and airforce blue ( which is not popular - so uually use m blue for a/f meds) - do you use a/f blue board?

Hi Mickey,

I guess that the stacked pair of mouldings which you use are a standard combination for you. I must say that I really like the result they produce. I also looked up the price for these two mouldings and was favourably impressed.

Again congratulations on two excellent examples of your work.

P.S. Simons were offering a moulding at the Spring Fair on a special (only for the show) price and it was very similar to your brown moulding. Maybe there's the possiblity of a price deal even now!

hi there NYAF,

Maybe you could pm me with the simon number - ill check it out.

If the moulding is the same as either of my two 'browns' could well be very usefull - particularly if we get an out of stock advice from our supplier!

Even with only two 'browns' we have to take care to use the same one for repeat orders from the same customer - although the mouldings look similar in a photo - when the finished frames are hung or placed next to each other they do look noticeably different. You may ask why we have two? a couple of years ago we had an O O Stock for the original brown that 'rather long' and we had to select a replacement! I constantly worry about the gold going OO Stock as i have not been able to find an alternative with that very narrow 5mm rebate!
