this is a nice (and quite valuable) group of medals awarded to col y
yeatman.jpg
MBE (military); 39/45 star; africa star; italy star; defence medal; 39/45 war medal; GSM palestine - oak leaves on last two ribbons indicate mentioned in dispatches. We used new ribbons for the display - originals being stored on the reverse of the frame.

Hi Mikey

Is the small rectangular plaque in the frame just printed or is it engraved. More detail please?

Regards
Mike (Deepjoy)

hi yes its printed using coral word perfect - but other wp's are available! its on 180 gsm gloss paper and fixed to mountboard then bevelled on the mount cutter. We can have these things engraved but people don't want to pay for them (they charge by the letter) and quite often are difficult to read under glass.
