Cricket Cap - Coved Box

Post by John »

Make the outer box 1.4mm (mountboard thickness) deeper than the inner so that the bases of each will be in contact when the frame is assembled. A few spots of hot glue between these surfaces will add considerably to the strength of the unit.

A hot glue gun was used to fix the outer coved box in the frame.

Our customer thought that this was a more elegant solution than the deep rebate/stacked moulding alternatives that he was shown.
