premiumbonds seem to have suffered from the big R

the last year my 10 grand has not had a single win - gonna cash em in ! anyone else done this - it seems like you always think well maybe next month.

i dont think so :head:

I've got some from the first issue (1956 I think). Never won a penny. :(

The government (NS&I) apply an interest rate of 1.5% to the prize fund.

I think you can do better in a bank/building society except there is always that chance of a big prize which is why so many people hang on to them. Chances of the £1m prize is 40 billion to 1 per £1 unit in bonds

well i deferred the decision until this weekend to see if i came up with anything - big 0 again - so i think its bibi bonds Image although my other 'investments' :lol: only pay small interest 10 grand is a tidy sum to lie idle. Maybe ask for the funds in cash and have some retail theapy!!! :clap: :clap:

mikey is 10K not enought to build a workshop in the garden so Mrs Mikey will stop giving you grief for damaging the kintchen table??

no problem there - she has a new kitchen ext - i have the old kitchen as a workshop!! and the door locks from the inside Image im king o that castle

P.S. I won with a £1 premium bond my grandma bought in the sixties for me .........£25 :roll:
