Anyone going to Springfair this year? I thought I might go on the Monday but just for the day. Lion are back this year although with a smaller stand and looking at Arqadia's website today there is a lot of stuff not in Vol. 11 of the catalogue they are listing in additions so will be worth checking them out.

Not sure if I'm going now though, in fact it's a bit late to book a hotel really so I'm almost definitely not!
Main reason for wanting to anyway was to meet up with a Grumbler friend plus anyone from here, plus visiting my kids in M Keynes on the way up and my brother in Worcester on the way back - nothing to do with the show.
Forum live is a much more pleasant drive (no M25) anyway.

I thought I'd drive up on the Sunday, I love that journey to the NEC ..... I was surprised that LION were making an appearance this year, after doing their own thing last year .

I'll be there for the whole thing - working on the Wessex & Simons stands - come & say hello!!!
Your too late I'm afraid - I retired in April 2024

Re: Springfair 2011
I think they realised what a big mistake they had made. Last years show although small was quite good and a pleasant suprise. I always go on a sunday, I make sure I get there for opening time so I can be away by three and stand a chance of seeing a rep on the Arqadia and Simons stand.Bagpuss wrote:I thought I'd drive up on the Sunday, I love that journey to the NEC ..... We'll be there on the Sunday.
Staying in Banbury, cheaper & only an hour from NEC.
