Springfair 2011

Post by Jonny2morsos »

This may have come up before but a search did not reveal a relevant thread.

Anyone going to Springfair this year? I thought I might go on the Monday but just for the day. Lion are back this year although with a smaller stand and looking at Arqadia's website today there is a lot of stuff not in Vol. 11 of the catalogue they are listing in additions so will be worth checking them out.

Advanced search - 'Spring' in topic titles only ....... TaDAAAAAAA!

Not sure if I'm going now though, in fact it's a bit late to book a hotel really so I'm almost definitely not!

Main reason for wanting to anyway was to meet up with a Grumbler friend plus anyone from here, plus visiting my kids in M Keynes on the way up and my brother in Worcester on the way back - nothing to do with the show.

Forum live is a much more pleasant drive (no M25) anyway.

I thought I'd drive up on the Sunday, I love that journey to the NEC ..... I was surprised that LION were making an appearance this year, after doing their own thing last year .
My real name is Adam Laver aka "Adam The Picture Framer", just in case you were unsure ; )

I think they realised what a big mistake they had made. Last years show although small was quite good and a pleasant suprise. I always go on a sunday, I make sure I get there for opening time so I can be away by three and stand a chance of seeing a rep on the Arqadia and Simons stand.
