Prices are going up.

I have just started a new lease - with the inevitable hike in cost. The privelidge of a high street shop in a not over busy market town in the cotswolds is costing me £1200 a month. My basic reaction to this sum of money going out is that I am reaching a point where I could service a mortagage based on this sort of figure - and gain from the rise in property prices - but I have been here a long time - cant find the right premises etc - so here I stay, for the next five years at least.
So with the lease going up - rates rising - materials costs increasing the inevitible price rise has had to be implimented - nobody has commented yet.
