Cassese CS830

We have a second hand CS830 which has been working fine until today... Air is 'leaking' at the back of the foot pedal, meaning that the pressure won't come up enough to operate. As it is new to us I am wondering if there is anything I could have inadvertently knocked while clearing a stuck wedge this morning? Any ideas?

These two port pedals are fitted to a number of the older type Cassese underpinners and its very common for the internal seals to go brittle and break up after a few years use resulting in air leaking from one of the unused ports at the back of the pedal, if your pedal is the type with the orange cover on it then its non repairable and you would require a complete new pedal.
Removing a jammed wedge has nothing to do with this part failing.

Thanks for that; someone else suggested the seals, so that sounds like the case. Will go for a new pedal then... :?
