I have an old model Morso F and Euro underpinner that I would like to sell, but don't know what price I should be asking. They are both in working order. The foot has been replaced on the Morso but it works perfectly. Any help would be much appreciated.

Is the Euro pneumatic? I just bought a used one (that needs a bit of TLC) that takes 3 sizes of 'V' nail which can be flicked between for £250 including delivery, so if it was in perfect working order I suppose I'd've been willing to pay £400, or less if I collected.

Have a look on e-bay and do a search on what they where making.

Morso's are always wanted and go from anything from £50 to £900 secondhand depending on condition (paint work, do they need replacement parts), a guide price if in good working order but paint work being a bit rougth and all is needed is a clean up and blade sharpen £450-£600.

As For the Euro get what you can for it as they are no longer made, but if you post the model type and number some forum members can provide spares if required.

I would recomend you advertise it on E-bay. or on this forum in the advertising section or members only, lots of People wanting to start up in a small way.

The pneumatic Euro underpinners were well engineered and are still highly credible machines. O.K., there are spares issues, but people still buy them.

If you can demostrate it as working and it has not been completely hammered to death, then there is every chance that it will last for many years yet. They should still fetch sensible money, so don't get fooled into letting it go for something stupid like £50.

I bought a Euro 9010 with a bambi compressor for £250, but the Euro was probably worth getting for that much without the compressor. I only bought it as a cheap way of getting a decent compressor and gave the Euro away as I had already accquired a secondhand Gielli 4000e.

There is no id or name on the underpinner but my moulding supplier said it is a Euro. Blue with V arms in the front. Foot operated.

It does sound like a Euro and blue was their colour. It obviously is a manual underpinner and manual Euro underpinners are not worth as much as a pneumatic one, but if it works it's still a good machine for someone starting up on limited funds.

I would guess that if I wanted to buy one, I would try and get it for about £50, but a nice one might go for more. So, I'm guessing that £50 - £100 is probaby about right.

There's a lot of them around and people who've got them still say nice things about them.
