Someone in your local area might be willing to train you, if you were closer to me i'd be happy to do it..........bear in mind that you could go to 5 different framers and be shown 5 different methods all with varying results..........my advice to you would be to find someone who does the job the way you'd hope to be able to and ask if they will train you. Failing that come to sunny Glasgow and i'll do it
Here is another link with a few pics of how thy can look when framed.............and some debate on the rights and wrongs

Hi Kathy, a slight feeling of deja vu here! I did the course at DIY Framing, as part of a week course, and found it very good. I believe that the shirt day can be done individually.

Hmmmm its got my attention. The other 'courses' look good as well.
Think I may contact her for some training, though Mrs D may frown somewhat as she is the one that does the shirt stretching. I just do the frames and slips and things

As Simon mentioned I'd start by looking at the DIY Framing course, they are based in Beaconsfield but also do training all over the UK.

There's a lot of technique involved in framing this sort of thing and some members of this forum have posted examples of sport shirts which they have framed on this forum. At least one of them (Robo) also offers training and I think there may be more!
I would also suspect that at least some of the many training providers would have their own examples on their websites. So why not have a look at what is on show first. It may make your choice of training provider a little easier.

Hi try contacting Jan Stanlick at framers equipment in northampton, they do a shirt/memorabilia and box framing course and you will pick up loads of other framing information at the same time.
Great courses, friendly training, small groups, all at a really good price with a lovely lunch thrown in.
