Hello

Just thought I'd mention that we've launched a new version of the Lion website http://www.lionpic.co.uk. Some of the features:

- Completely redesigned to be clearer and easier to use
- Quick Order: Enter part numbers and quantities and add them to the basket in one go, or upload from an excel / .csv file
- Free delivery on orders over £80 (£130 offline)
- Up to date stock availability
- Account management: Download copy invoices and check your ordering history

Existing customers can get their online account linked to their existing Lion account (and credit facilities) simply by calling or emailing us.

Comments and suggestions very welcome.

Nicola

Just to clarify - that means delivery is free on orders over £130 when placed by phone / fax / email, but free over £80 when ordered online.

A very good site Nicola, it looks crisp and functional.

The Quick Order feature is a nice addition that is bound to be popular. I know that we will use it a lot.

One thing that used to slightly annoy me was page No's at the top of the page only - and it's still the same.

Yes, that annoys me too. It should be corrected in a couple more weeks when we add a new, much more refined search to the site. We decided to go live without this as everything else was working as well as or better than the old site and we wanted to get it going while the search is perfected.

I always use the site to place orders, it looks great.
I like the idea of the 'essentials' section, although the only difference I would have made would be a tick box for every item on the essential list and then an add to basket button at the bottom. Instead you still have to add all the items individually, going to and from the order basket.
