Painted Frames

To prevent paint from glueing your frame to your work surface as it dries, place a staple on the bottom approximately at each corner, leave them proud as in the pictures below: -
Hopefully the pictures tell the storey.

I use a similar technique - but if I am doing a lot of frames I staple a thin piece of batten across the corners - I can then lift the frame up without touching the sides - useful if your leaving them to dry on another bench etc.

Between coats, no need to clean your brush. Just wrap it up in one of your disposable gloves.
