I cut the outside with the 90 degrees blade
then I cut the opening facedown with the 45'" degrees blade.
the reuslt is that the left side and the bottom side have different size of what they are supposed to have
My mat is 230 mm x 230 mm outside and the opening must be 133 x 133 mm so the mat should be 48,5 each side
but i got 50 mm 47 mm
I think is a matter of the head home position but not sure how to solve it
Any help will be appreciate

Hi Atelier
How long has this been happening for. As you did not mention it in your earlier problem.
You do not mention if you are using the BLUE head or not.;
What is the thickness of the mountboard that you are cutting.
Does the problem occur when you are using the GREEN head on the default mountboard.
It is fairly simple to solve, but before we start changing machine settings, we need to know what your defaults are.
As you have already found out from your previous problem. Valiani is a great source of help.
You should try contacting them first.

Re: Valiani cmc cut wrong size measure
Hi, I posted here just because it happened to me yesterday on saturday and Valiani is closed.
I was using the blue head.
But it happened also withnthe green this week.
Is there an easy way to change settings or is better to call Valiani?
I posted here also because I think that a forum is a good way to solve problems and help each other.
Anyway Tomorrow I'll give a look to the guide and try to solve it.
Otherway I'll call Valiani.
Bye

Re: Valiani cmc cut wrong size measure
As I said, your problem is fairly easy to solve.
However, whilst using a Forum to highlight a problem is good (in that other users may have experienced the same), it is not so easy to diagnose a problem when all the information required is not given. It can also be very time consuming to solve.
To save time and any further heartache, you would be advised to talk directly with the engineers, who will have your relevant machine default settings in their Database. If the machine is run from a PC that is connected to the internet, then a Remote Access is probably the quickest and easiest method.
I have been in contact with Valiani and they will await your telephone call on Monday.
Please let us know how you get on.
