Inspired by misterdiy looking for a spandrel mount, I did a bit of playing about after work. The frame is one I made ages ago for a Russell Flint which the gallery decided to change for a period frame I had lying around. I am also making a circular one but have only cut the hardboard for that one.

It's a little rough round the edges at the moment, but a couple of coats of paint will cover most of that up, not bad for an hours faffing about

My incredible idea was to saw the fancy edge off a bit plastic moulding and bend it round inside after a blast with a heat gun.

I've never tried this sort of thing but this has inspired me.

My first attempt went a bit wonky but I can swallow it!

Shame on you John. You got your gadrooning going all in the same direction.
