Hi

Can anyone recommend any courier companies that would also insure glass ?

To the best of my knowledge none insure glass except possibly the very specialist company's that do the packing as well.

Most do not insure glass and if you did find one, the cost of insuring would probably outweigh the benefit

We ship around 80 packages a month with Parcelforce and rarely get breakages (maybe 2 or 3 per year)
They are not insured so we just take the hit when one gets broken. Just pack them really well.

I did claim for a lost shipment with DHL last year and they only pay cost price i.e Wood, Glass, Mountboard etc so the final payout was very small compared with the invoice value.

I would just spend the money on extra packaging instead
