Morso grabbing moulding

Hi. I'm wondering if someone could give me some advise. I am new to all this, a rooky perhaps. I've purchased a Morso which looks as if it has been looked after. Whenever I cut some moulding the blades seem to grab hold of it. I have to hold the moulding in place and put my foot under the pedal and try to pull it up. Half the time it pulls the moulding up with it. I then have to release the blades back to get the moulding free.
Any ideas? The springs are at there lowest holes, could they need tightening? I'm pulling my hair out, it makes the job very time consuming and hated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you backing the blades off after each cut?

you need to learn the morso dance,
in, down, back, up and repeat

I make the cut holding the moulding down and back. The blades cut and then grab the moulding and stays at the bottom of its stroke. I then have to put my foot under the pedal to pull it up. Sometimes it drags the moulding up with it and I have to back the blades of to get the moulding out. It's as if the friction between them is holding it.
Any help you can give will ne appreciated.

With great care try polishing the sides of each blade, ( briwax I use)
Suggest wearing gloves or remove blades.

Other doing the "Morso Dance" which I learnt pretty quickly, you can give your blades a quick dose with silicon spray.
I find that only certain mouldings stick, is it doing it with all your moulding?

Thanks for your replies. It's doing it with all mouldings. I'll try the spray, will it affect the glue when I join it?

Possibly, but having to frequently clean the stuff and everything that sticks to it off your blades might be more of an issue. I only handle the blades when I change them, they're bloody lethal.
Just get in to the habit of pulling the blades back, not even a complete notch, after each downward stroke, it'll be auto-pilot in no time.
Here's a youtube vid - I know it's an automated Morso and not a manual one, but you can see that step of the blades being slightly drawn back per cut and if they include it on the higher-end machines it has to be a good idea.

I have found out how lethal they are, anybody want to buy a large piece of flesh. I didn't realise that users back them off. I've just tried it and all is well, just take a bit of getting used to.
Thanks for all your help and everyone have a great Christmas and new year.
