Is considering a Magnolia mitre cutter at c. £450 a worthwhile exercise or should I hold on in the hope that a Morso for the same or a bit more becomes available?

I would be inclined to wait for a Morso. Must be 20 years or more since the Magnolia brand was operational. Spares could be a problem.

I would not bother, if you ever wanted to sell it at a later date, it would be very hard to find a buyer.

Morso is not the market leading brand for nothing! How about performance, reliability, spares availability and not forgetting the fact that they are build to last and go on for ever! A Morso is the smart move!

Thanks for the replies. I think I just needed to be reminded that being impatient and grabbing what's available is usually a poor idea. I'll just have to hope that a good Morso comes by sometime soon.

PS what's the difference between a Morso and a Morso F? (if this is not the wrong place to ask that question).

All Morsos have a letter after them.

F = Foot operated.
H = Hydraulic (semi automatic)
EH = Electronic/Hydraulic (fully automatic)

Thanks - now I'm an expert on Morso suffixes even if i've only seen pictures of them.
