Identifying a moulding

A customer has bought in a print for framing. He wants to match both frame.
The frame is 28mm distressed green with gold patches with a black back with a slight brownis indent along the rear edge and a gold raised sight edge. Cant see it in my various catalogs. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks for you help.

I can't be absolutely sure from the photo, but it looks like some of the sponged mottled finish straddles the mitre. I'm guessing that it might have been hand finished.

That's an old Bryron moulding if I'm not very much mistaken.
When did he have it framed?

It's very much Byron's sort of thing. I've still got an old Byron catalogue, so I'll have a look while I have my tea.

It's not in the Byron 2000-2001 catalogue. I think that's probably the only Byron catalogue I have got.
Didn't Aquarti do stuff a bit like that at one time?

I'm sure it's a Byron one. Circa 1990 or thereabouts. I think I could find a chevron if I looked hard enough in the shed.

Thanks everyone. It was framed at the Chameleon Gallery in Gainsborough a number of years ago, So the next question is; is it still available? If not does anyone have a stick or two they could part with?

Following a bit more investigation ( and finding a post on here) it seems that the stock of Byron is now owned by Profile Mouldings Ltd. I cant track them down either! Has anyone had any dealings with them? The name seems familliar but I cant find them on-line or on Yell.com.

Hmmmm.... A funny kettle of fish. The profile guy was a forum member at one time, but it appears he was permanently banned sometime in the past. Can't remember why.....
But anyway, I think the chances of finding that moulding are best described as slim.
