Cassese - Upgrade or Offload?

Hi Everyone,
A naive newby needs some advice please. I've recently bought a second hand CS79 (1999). Due to my inexperience I have now only realised that the parts it came with (original spec) limit the types and sizes of mouldings I am able to work with.
I am now looking to upgrade my machine with the new version fully adjustable top presser support.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has done this too, so that I'm certain I'm doing the right thing and that I'm aware of any pitfalls.
