Valiani Mat Pro

Post by the framing lady »

Hi All

We're thinking of upgrading to a Valiani Mat Pro to speed things up around here but don't know anyone with one. Has anyone got any experience of these - pros & cons etc. At the moment we've got a keencut which is fine and we don't have the throughput to make a CMC a sensible option. We have the option of a second hand Mat Pro at a good price and I'm really attracted to it - the video looks great, takes up a lot less floor space and seems a lot quicker. What I don't know is how reliable they are or the cost of maintenance.

Any input would be good.

Cheers,

Anna-Marie :)

Is this the Valiani Mat Pro Pneumatic
OR
the Valiani Mat Pro CMC.
If the latter which system is it. The single head or the Interchangeable head.

Thanks for the reply. Its a pneumatic - we don't have the throughput at the moment to justify buying a CMC but it would be good to speed up a bit and save some precious floorspace. I don't have any more details on the unit as yet as the seller has been really busy but any info is handy.
