laminating (sort of, I guess)

I have to frame a photo of a guy giving a speech, and he wants his speech notes (just a6 size photocopy paper) attached to back of the frame. He doesn't want to make a big deal of it (meaning he doesn't want much additional cost) so I was planning to spray mount them to the backing board. However, he also wants some sort of protective laminate on top and suggested sticky-back plastic from Rymans. Is this in fact a reasonably sensible idea or is there a more suitable product/process?

If I have to stick things to the backs I usually cut a piece of Mylar or similar wrapping film, a bit bigger than the paper lay over and tape around. The black self-adhesive tape that Lion do looks neat, but the brown stuff would work. Or you could encapsulate it completely and tape it. Depends how far you want to go.

What about just a normal laminator? This type of thing.

You can get those stick on pockets way, way cheaper from online suppliers.

We got some a while back but I can't think of the company name right now. If interested PM me and I will find it for you. They only come in standard sizes though.

I use the self-seal print-bags from Lion or the ones that crafters use for greeting cards, put the document in the bag and stick to the back of the frame with double-sided tape, great for any documents for the back of frames.
