been given an early 20th century photo in its original frame but with the glass missing, the customer wants it to go as is in a new frame with both sides showing (has a description on the backing paper) my problem is finding a neat way of suspending the frame without it touching the glass either side, have tried a neat fitting reverse beveled mount both sides with foamcore in between, but not that happy with the results so far,any ideas?

Hi Dougie
I guess you mean suspend the photo without it touching the glass. Mount both sides of the photo and then sandwich between two sheets of glass.

I'm interested in being able to do this kind of double sided display. The description of how to set up the package between 2 sheets of glass is clear, but I wonder how you fix it into a frame in a way that makes the back look pleasing as well as the front?
