when the lights went out

Post by mikeysaling »

I was in a pub on Saturday night. Had a few....

I noticed two large women by the bar.
They both had strong accents so I asked, "Hey, are
you two ladies from Scotland?"
One of them chirped: "It's WALES you idiot!"
So, I immediately apologized and said..., "Sorry, are
you two whales from Scotland ?"
Then the lights went out....
when all is said and done - there is more said than done.

Saw a young lady sitting on a park bench crying her eyes out.

"What's the matter?", I asked.

"That man over there said my baby was ugly", she sobbed.

"Oh Dear!", says I. "I wouldn't let him get away with that. You go over and give him a big slap. I'll look after your monkey" :P

I'm in trouble now Mikey.
I forwarded this on to a friend, who has to two (shall we say, er buxom) sisters.

You're right. It's quite disorientating in the dark, isn't it?
I haven't got as clue where I am at the moment.
I heard a knock on the door and then, as you say,
the lights went out
