I seem to have a problem with my Ultimat gold in that I have uneven borders on a double mount.
Checked the bench that is level, 6 new bumpers on the base of the machine. Machine is level.
The cut outs fall out, no under cuts or overcuts.
I cut the top mount wwith a slip underneath, remove slip mat. Cut double mount which is held in place by a small amount of atg tape.
When I come to assemble mount I notice uneven borders. Has any body got any thoughts on my problem

Are you putting the fall out back in to act as a slip mat for the bottom mount?

Are you cutting the bottom mount ever so slightly smaller than the top mount to ensure it is the top mount again that the stops are being set to?

When sticking the mounts together, back up the ATG with some PVA glue.

Thanks for your reply, Roboframer. Answear is yes to all your questions. I am realley at a loss to the reason, as far as I can tell when I measure the cut, as in the owners manual it is the correct width. Any other thoughts any body.

Try it without removing your slip mat, sometimes the top mount (which of course is on the bottom when you cut) can slip under the mat guide.

Robo is spot on with this suggestion. The ONLY time that it really becomes imperative to remove the slipsheet (underlayment) when cutting on a table top bench mount cutter, is when one is attempting to cut an inlay mat.

It's only then that the slight shift in height will impact the accuracy of the fallout fitting perfectly into the outside mat - Inlays.

My guess your problem arrises from the second blank board not being cut slightly smaller than the top mount or technique when engaging the mount against the Guide.

Are you taking the mounts apart after cutting, is that the reason for the small amount of atg tape or it could be that the mounts are moving if you are only using a small amount of ATG tape

This might help to clarify a couple of things for you, it is based on the Logan mountcutter but it show the process of cutting the top mount and taping the bottom mount before cutting:
