One of favourite frames made to support a large mirror. My customer wanted something different and we agreed on a mixture of details, ripple moulding, Byzantine decoration and she requested some jewels if possible. The frame was finished in water gilded 23/3/4ct. The surface feature punched decoration (stars & flowers) and the imitation jewels set in mounts I made out of wood. The jewels were made out of fibreglass resin and resembled garnets and black agate. If I say it myself, once finished it looked lovely and will at some point make another for myself. Hope you find it interesting.

Hi geoff,

Very impressive. There's a lot of work gone into producing a frame like that. May I ask you how long it took to produce?

Hey Geoff

That's a real cracker! Did you take any photos of inbetween stages, it would be great for us lesser mortals to see how it was put together :D
