Hi guys,

Having read all your comments about my problem with the ripples on the framed prints, I have decided to look into farming out these prints in order to keep my customer happy. Do any of you know anyone that would be willing to dry mount these prints for me and how much I would be charged.
The size of each print is 100cm x 70.5cm and there are 22 of them.

I think you said earlier you had your own hotpress but the smaller version. It might cut your costs if you were to provide your own dry mount tissue and boards to mount on. If you cut all these before hand and turned up with them you would only be needing to borrow a bit of time on someone's machine and as you have experience you could provide the labour.

Need to talk nicely to the owner and offer a return favour.

If not dealt with yet, there is a dry mount price list here http://www.amimage.co.uk we use them here in Edinburgh all the time as we only have a 4'x3' hotpress and absolutely will not drymount photos bigger than 20"x16" due to orange peel or lifting when using sticky board (when using sticky board pop it in the hot press for a minute, helps loads).

People who want quality will pay for a farmed out service, the fact that we can tell customers that A+M Imaging are very good at it helps sway them.

For your job, try a method I wouldn't reccomend for anything else, either spraymount (yuck) or I found a can of spray contact adhesive in my garage you can buy online, it'll stick a person to a wall if needed.

NOTE, if these prints are photographic paper then don't use either of the above methods and get in touch with a photographic printing company.
