Simply the best show in the world
Why ? Because over 100 seminars teaching framers anything they need to know.
A very few ( including Robo ) UK framers have been and all say" Worth the investment "
Its not that expensive to book a package to Las Vegas end of January.

this is something I would love to go to.
I will have to see if I can spare the time and funds.

I was a great experience - apart from the show itself, which had 62 companies showing mouldings compared to 5 or 6 at our Spring Fair the same year, there were seminars -(I only did two) there was the Grumble Limo extravaganza, the strip/Vegas itself and a full day trip to the Hoover Dam/Grand Canyon -
this one.
A week (in 2009) cost me £815 with Expedia, including return flights, Riviera Hotel, that canyon trip, a strip 'power pass' and a trip to an outlet centre. To put that in to perspective it cost not much less than that for two, from Ireland, for 2 nights in Birmingham for the Spring Fair!

Looks like it's only worth going if Roboframer is there... wouldn't want to miss out on the Robo experience!!

Robo - it cost you nothing!
Why dont you explain how it was paid for
I thought the way you funded it was rather clever

VAT (Vegas Added Tax) - about £2 per framing order for a few months before the event.

Robo,
I think you should organize a Tour Group of framers from Ireland and the UK for the show next year. You get two-three dozen to attend, and sign up on your package deal, and you are golden!
For those interested, since John (Roboframer) visited, the show has moved into a nicer facility. Classes are extremely extensive, and the WCAF seminars are now complimented by the PPFA seminars and convention which happen together!
Courses and Seminars are typically not organized and posted on the websites until November - lots to organize. Many framers OD on education taking 3-4 a day for 4 days and the brain simply cannot take in this much information. I'd recommend a maximum of two per day.
