I have to own up and say I order my d rings from wessex or lion. I am slightly embarrassed to have to admit that I don't buy these top quality ones from ebay. I feel now like I am cheating my customers
Several crafts would use this type of D-ring, can't see it being much use to picture framers, unless possibly those who would use chains for hanging heavy items.

We sell these D rings in several sizes in brass and 'silver' - the one inch brass ones are 10p each - those ebay ones work out at 15p each plus postage.
They're used for various things such as curtain tie-backs, apron straps, etc.
Bad me, they were listed under framing/matting(on my saved searches)....
Oh well, there seem to be pretty useful to some,I will have another look at them and another chuckle then carry on.
Would depend how many/what they weighed - we pack things like this up in second hand jiffy bags, take them to the PO a few doors down, get a price and add that on at cost.
Oh 12. That's not so bad. I thought it meant each. Seen dafter prices on fleabay.
The best bargain I ever had was a box of spongy sanding blocks. 225 in a box. The guy wanted 20 quid but I beat him down to 15. They go for about £2.50 apiece in the DIY sheds. Wish I had got the other three boxes he had.
Later....... Thanks Brian. I just bought a load of paintbrushes. (At the right price. )
I would buy items on ebay to frame and sell, but their search facilities includes too many unrelated items to waste my time with while trying to find what I want. Nice items with potential for profit are hard to find these days.
