Purchased as a single sheet the board shows quite obvious lines running lengthways across the board. Returned to supplier ok, but on opening up a fresh pack all show the same distinct lines.
Is this right for this board please?

Some papers do have lines on them. It's part of the process.

I think some of colourmount's surface papers are ingres paper which has lines about one inch apart.

Thanks, yes just over an inch, looking not so good to me, even if I did take the time to line up the lines centrally around the aperture. The chevron doesn't show it, but lesson learnt and a different board to choose.

Could be a batch problem, it does happen, why not cut a new chervon from the stock you now have, then it will match, and the customer can see it when choosing.

Colourmount chevrons supplied by them are stamped out without a bevelled edge.
The stamping process might account for the texture not matching.
I spoke to the marketing manager at Colourmount last year asking when the would go over to bevel cut samples but they were not interested preferring to have the printed information on the back.
