Underpinner Warning!!!
Hi All
Had a bit of an incident today with my minigraph 4E this is the full electric machine with electronic pedal.
The return spring in the pedal broke making the machine miss fire. Nothing unusual in a miss fire as the pedals are sensitive. So as I went to clear the pins it fired again my foot no where near the pedal. Result 3 x 10mm pins lodged in my finger and an afternoon in casualty. One very lucky framer could have easy took the end off with the clamp. Photo attached for your amusement/ warning!!!

Re: Underpinner Warning!!!
I hope that heals soon. Ouch! I think I'll stick to my manual underpinner.
Presumably there is no fail safe on the underpinner to stop it firing without warning, that seems a bit dangerous to me?

Yow that looks really sore.
I can't believe you went to casualty to get it sorted out before posting it on here.
Re: Underpinner Warning!!!
Ouch
Suggest a warning for those of a sensitive nature before looking at that, I nearly saw my breakfast again.

They don't seem to have stacked very well, are they soft or hardwood wedges?

Re: Underpinner Warning!!!
Ouch!!!!!
How did you manage to type and take a photo? I would have fainted.
Worried not just for you and your framing, but you other uses for your finger!!!
Example - piano playing for those with a dirty mind.
