Which is the best way to show a certificate of authenticity on to the back side of a frame, the frame is 16 x 10 inches the certificate is 8 x 6 inches.

Plastic sleeve from a loose leaf binder, cut the holes off to make it look nicer perhaps. Stick that to the back and put the cert in.
Some say certs should be kept separate.

I use mylar envelopes that I got from an archival supplier down here. I got them to make A4 and A2 size and I just attach them to the back with ATG.

Certificate holders are available. Customer of mine I do mounts for uses A5 size and prints his own certs. which he numbers and signs. I often photocopy, laminate the copy put that on back of frame and suggest the customer keeps the original in a safe place.

We use these
http://www.viking-direct.co.uk/catalog/ ... DDEmpty.do
They have no holes perforated in them so they look a lot better than binder sleeves - they are available in different sizes are fairly cheap, and look good when attached to the back of the frame.
