After shaping the Moros blades several times they become shorter and shorter. Can anyone advice on how short they can go before they need replacing.

This is not the definitive answer but I have noticed the more they are sharpened the more frequently the need re-sharpening. So there must come a point whre the cheaper option is to replace rather than keep sending for grinding.

If they are sharpened on a genuine Morso machine then the can be ground untill there is 10mm left between the edge and the copper line.

EHT1,
You can get the blade ground till the width is 59mm.

There is the same limitation as on the manual Morso.
However.......if the blade no longer reaches the sensor you have 2 options.
1 adjust the height of the blade by altering the drawbar at the main cylinder itself or adjust the height of the blade sensor.
I have a bracket (made by Morso) for this purpose.
If I can be of any furher help give me a call
